Eve L. Ewing wrote Ghosts in the Schoolyard to show how closing 50 CPS schools in 2013 was an affront to communities of color. Teens from Harlan High School interviewed folks from those communities five years later to think about and measure the effects of those closings. Their results are published, in partnership with Brown and Proud Press, as a zine, exploring the topic through video and audio interviews, photography, narrative, poetry, and data mapping.  Help celebrate the launch of the zine, buy a copy, and hear how teens pulled this project together.

Awesome for All!
