“There isn’t anyone you couldn’t love once you’ve heard their story.” The experiences we’ve had, the mistakes we’ve made, and the things that we discover along the way make us who we are. Join Open Books in a workshop focused on memoir and how we tell our own stories of mistakes made and lessons learned. After discussing storytelling as it pertains to personal experience, you will write prose on a time that you were faced with a challenge and came out the other side a stronger person, culminating with the opportunity to share what you’ve written.

Awesome for Storytellers!
